Hey everyone this is my review/first impressions of the Barnes & Noble Nook e-reader. I really like this device if you just need a device to read books, the only thing I don’t like about it is, It’s a bit laggy on the capacitive touch screen, but not to bad. I definitely would prefer this over other e-readers. It is a very good competitor to the Amazon Kindle, I think maybe even over taking it by a little bit because of it’s lcd screen. (in my opinion) It has a large amount of cases and pouches for it already so you will never have to go unprotected. Question by ♥Bambi McBimbo♥: Amazon Kindle vs. Barns and Noble Nook vs. Sony E-reader?
What are your opinions on these three e-readers? I would like to know about the availiblity of free books, books you can buy, ease of use, and anyother information you would like to share. I am not very tech savy, so that might be something else you would want to factor in. Thanks a lot!
Best answer:
Answer by nowaynohow Nook is not yet ready for prime time. It does not have, or does badly, things the Kindle does well. That’s mostly because the Kindle is on its second generation, not that they got it right the first time.
Most of the best sellers on each machine are actually the free books. Look at the available books, think of 10 things you want and see if they are available.

Wireless is a unique feature I will say and that’s make really value for money. 3G wireless and global coverage, I personally travel a lot and really worthy for me. You can have any newspaper at any place. Paper like display, 1500 books storage and list is on.I love this little magic book.

Question by nicnikkiz: Kindle vs Nook vs Sony E-reader?
Which of these three is the best?
Best answer:
Answer by Sarah Best is objective. In my opinion I like the Nook the best. It has a huge selection of books, like the kindle and I like its interface a bit better than the Kindle as well. It is easier to get where you want in a paper or book on a Nook than a kindle but truly the iPads interface puts both to shame. I think the Nook is still the best eReader out today but here is a little review and you can decide for yourself.

The Sony is too expensive for what it does I think. You cant go wrong with either the Kindle or the Nook and if you are a reader as soon as you get either you will fall in love.

Question by Aaron: Barnes & Noble – NOOK 3G+WiFi eReader vs kindle 2?
i was looking for my books and thought it might be easier to get one of these but i dont know which one. and is it easy to use?
Best answer:
Answer by Kim I have the nook and I love it. I love the color touch screen and the tons of cases you can get. I personally don’t like the kindle keyboard. It is easy to use. If you’re planning on using it for textbooks I wouldn’t suggest it because there aren’t many textbooks in ebook format
